Intersolar Q&A with Jeff Myles of Rolls Battery

Jeff Myles | Rolls Battery

Your company will be exhibiting at Intersolar / EES, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

Intersolar North America continues to offer significant value, drawing a large audience. This show offers us an opportunity to meet face-to-face with current and potential customers as well as industry professionals seeking product information and technical support. In doing so, we are often able to discuss and qualify these opportunities and vet leads to an experienced product distributor in their region.

What can a visitor to your booth expect to see this year?

This year we're pleased to be sharing our booth with representatives from one of the largest Rolls Battery distributors in the US. Teaming up with Stationary Power Systems, we're able to offer attendees assistance with system sizing and design, as well as pricing and availability for the full range of Rolls flooded, AGM & GEL battery lines and accessories.

Any new products you will be introducing?

Rolls is excited to announce the expansion of our 5000 Series range with the launch of select premium models with enhanced charge performance and added capacity. With improved charge efficiency at lower voltages, these models require shorter recharge times which is especially beneficial in off-grid renewable energy applications. Visit the Rolls booth for full details!

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?

Walking the show is often as beneficial as meeting with attendees in our booth. Touring the exhibit hall provides an opportunity to learn more about the products and services offered by other manufacturers and service providers, current trends as well as a look at competitor's product lines. From a marketing perspective, touring the show often allows me to gauge what others are doing well to gain the interest of attendees.

Intersolar / EES has many educational sessions, is your company involved in any of them this year?

Although we will not be offering a session at Intersolar North America in 2017, we do schedule certified technical training workshops and Q&A sessions at several NABCEP and SEIA events throughout the year.

When you book a booth for a trade show like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

Our participation in solar industry trade shows and events is driven by several factors. The primary goals are to meet and discuss new sales opportunities with current and potential customers, to maintain brand awareness and, in many cases, to offer technical training and product support to Installers which furthers the ongoing success and reputation of our products.
