  • According to the International Energy Agency's Electricity 2024 report, low-emission sources such as solar, wind, hydro, and nuclear power will meet all of the world's electricity demand growth in the next three years.   By 2026, low-emission energy is projected to account for nearly half of global electricity generation, surpassing the 39% recorded in 2023. By early 2025, renewable energy is expected to surpass coal in electricity generation, constituting over one-third of total electricity production.   The majority of the growth in electricity demand (about 85%) is anticipated to come from regions outside developed economies, especially from China, India, and Southeast Asian countries.   China is expected to lead global electricity demand growth, while India will be the fastest-growing among major economies.   "In any country, electricity consumption is a key indicator of economic development," said Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency.   "Access to reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy for all citizens is critical to achieving global economic and climate goals."   As China leads the trend in global electricity demand growth, Topsola, committed to building a green net-zero future, actively promotes the ESG concept, sounding the horn for technological innovation and cost reduction. On the path of sustainable energy, Topsola is dedicated to chasing the light, embracing the green, and walking towards a future of global economic and climate goals. ☀️🌲🌏   #newenergy #sustainablility #ESG #netzero #photovoltaic #earth #environment   Source: https://lnkd.in/dQ9FwWUF IEA Report: Electricity 2024
