September:

The summer is over and the tradeshows are back up and running.  Batteries and Energy Storage has been a major topic all year long for AltEnergyMag.com, and The Battery Show is a premier tradeshow for this sector.  I included EU PVSEC in the list even though it is over in Europe, but it is an important show and well worth attending if possible.

7TH ANNUAL UTILITY SCALE SOLAR SUMMIT

29TH EUROPEAN PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR ENERGY CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION (EU PVSEC 2014) 
Sep 22 - 26 2014, Amsterdam, The Netherlands 
The EU PVSEC is the largest international Conference for Photovoltaic Research and Technologies, Industries and Applications, and at the same time a leading international PV Industry Exhibition. It gathers the global PV community to conduct business, to network and to present and discuss the latest developments and innovations in Photovoltaics. This global event uniquely combines scientific, technological industrial and market issues from the perspective of research and development, industry, finance and politics. It is considered to be the world’s leading science-to-science, business-to-business and science-to-industry platform for the global PV solar sector. GEA GEOTHERMAL ENERGY EXPO 2014

CANWEA 2014
Oct 27 - 29 2014, Montreal, QC
CanWEA 2014 conference will be better than ever! INTERSOLAR INDIA 2014
Nov 18 - 20 2014, Mumbai, India
With events spanning four continents, Intersolar is the world’s leading exhibition series for the solar industry and its partners. It unites people and companies from around the world with the aim of increasing the share of solar power in our energy supply. Intersolar India is the country’s largest exhibition and conference for the solar industry. It takes place annually at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Mumbai. The event’s exhibition and conference both focus on the areas of photovoltaics, PV production technologies, energy storage and solar thermal technologies. Since being founded, Intersolar has become the most important industry platform for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers and partners of the solar industry. In 2013, 170 international exhibitors and around 8,000 visitors attended Intersolar India. Some 100 speakers and about 500 attendees discussed current industry topics and shed light on the conditions surrounding technological, market and political developments at the accompanying conference. 

PV OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE USA

PV Operations & Maintenance USA is a 2 day conference that will bring together the key solar stakeholders in the utility scale PV industry to share cutting edge technical and commercial plant management techniques. Agenda already includes speakers from First Solar, Arizona Public Services, Rabo bank, NRG Energy and many more to be confirmed.
