The Cedar Point Wind Energy Project provides approximately 875,000 MWh which corresponds to the annual consumption of about 80,000 Colorado homes. The Crossroads Energy Project provides approximately 924,307 MWh which corresponds to the annual consumption of about 70,000 homes.

Cedar Point Wind Energy Project

The Cedar Point Wind Energy Project, located in Lincoln and Elbert Counties, CO comprises of 139 Vestas 1.8 MW turbines, which are connected to the Public Service Company’s (PSCo) grid by a 42-mile transmission line. RES Americas developed and constructed the wind farm and transmission line under a fixed price, turnkey EPC agreement with Enbridge. Vestas is providing the operations and maintenance services under a five-year, fixed price service, maintenance and warranty agreement.

The project created more than 365 construction jobs, many of which were filled by residents of Colorado and, wherever possible, from the local community.  RES Americas worked with more than 30 local and regional vendors in constructing the Cedar Point Wind Energy Project. More than $500 million has been invested in Colorado for this project.

The Cedar Point Wind Energy Project provides approximately 875,000 MWh which corresponds to the annual consumption of about 80,000 Colorado homes.  About 710,000 tons of CO2 will be saved per year.

Crossroads Wind Energy Project

The Crossroads Wind Energy Project, located in Dewey County, OK comprises of 98 Siemens 2.3 MW turbines. RES Americas developed and constructed the wind farm and transmission line under a Balance of Plant (BOP) agreement with OG&E.

The project created approximately 650 jobs during the peak of construction, many of which were filled by residents of Oklahoma and, wherever possible, from the local community.  Also ten permanent jobs were created for the operations and maintenance of the project. RES Americas worked with approximately 20 local and regional vendors in constructing the Crossroads Wind Energy Project.

The Crossroads Energy Project provides approximately 924,307 MWh which corresponds to the annual consumption of about 70,000 homes.  About 400,000 metric tons of CO2 will be saved per year.
