Framingham, MA. August 30, 2005. SolarOne' Solutions, LLC announced that the company has won another order for its SOLED' lighting using the patent-pending mc2 controller technology and high-lumen White LED lamps. Lights will illuminate a new parking lot for a major laboratory in the SW US.

SolarOne Solutions, LLC announced today that the company has received another order for its SOLED' lighting systems using the patent-pending mc2 controller technology and high-lumen White LED lamps. These lights will illuminate a new parking for a major laboratory in the Southwestern US. The order comes on the heels of an order for SOLED' pathway lighting from a New England-based university, announced last month.

The mc2 technology offers a host of advantages over existing solar lighting, including remote, on-site programmability, user-selectable profiles and run-time extension modes. "Not only does this new system offer a jump in luminous efficiency, it also gives the user unparalleled control of the system, with 'two button push' simplicity for any given change. This technology makes solar area lighting systems more effective and easier to site than ever before," adds Azzam. Shipments of lighting systems using the new mc2 technology, including this order, commence next month.
SOLED' lights operate independent of the electric grid, relying on a solar panel for their power source. This ensures that they will remain lit, even during grid-connected power shortages. Additionally, their independent power source enables them to be sited flexibly and installed easily, without incurring the significant expenses of trenching and repaving.
