Washington, DC - POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels, the all-renewable energy and fuel conference and exhibition being held for the third year in Las Vegas on April 10-12, 2006, announced that the number of exhibiting companies will increase form 112 to 142. With an anticipated 2,000 attendees, over 120 of the industries top speakers, and many anticipated product launches, this is the all-renewables event of the year.

"There have never been as many, and as broad a mix of renewable energy companies in one place at one time as this show," said Tim Kehrli, Director Government Sales, Solar Integrated Technologies. "This seems to offer a very important role in demonstrating all the companies and renewable energy options that exist, and state officials, federal officials, utilities and private investors are here to learn more about these technologies and the role they can play in the US."

Major returning exhibitors in 2006 included GE Energy & Global Energy Decisions, Kyocera Solar, Solar Integrated Technologies, Vestas Americas, Ormat, Babcock & Wilcox Co., Waukesha Engine, UKTI, Black & Veatch, EnXco Inc., RenewableEnergyAccess.com and Magellan Aerospace Corp. (Orenda) to name a few.

Brad Martin, Commercial Manager, Industrial Gas Turbines at Magellan Aerospace Corp. (Orenda), stated that, "Our commitment to renewable energy is becoming increasingly important in the wider market. Our participation in POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels this year in Las Vegas will allow us to showcase this commitment to a diverse audience. We're anticipating a significant interest from organizations, companies and governmental agencies in our innovative technologies. The press and media presence will further ensure even wider publicity for the event and our own activities. We're looking forward to having a very positive experience at POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels and to build on this year's successes."

"Waukesha Engine is pleased to participate in POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels 2006," said Paul Cannestra, Vice President of Marketing for Waukesha. "This is an excellent opportunity for us to present our story to a market with a lot of potential. We have proven success in landfill and digester gas applications and we are continuing to develop a broader product offering to service this market."

Jim Callihan, CEO and President of RenewableEnergyAccess.com agreed. "From the seed of a great idea, in just a few short years POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels has grown into the premiere U.S. all renewables event attracting the best of what this industry has to offer. I look forward every year to meeting new companies and seeing what's exciting for renewables -- plus, this year renewable fuels will jump in! For those inside the industry -- and outside -- this is one renewable energy event that you don't want to miss."

POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels 2006 will continue to help determine the direction of future growth in the renewable energy industry not only in the United States but also abroad based on its strong performance in 2005. Mike Rosenfeld, Vice Consul at the British Consulate-General, Los Angeles stated that exhibitors in the UK Pavilion in 2005 "made many valuable contacts at the trade show" and were "impressed with the visitors to the show." Rosenfeld also said that, "the receptions were excellent networking opportunities" and that "there was a lot of energy." From the UK Trade & Investment's perspective, all are excited to come back for POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels 2006 because "the trade show was good value for money, providing our UK Renewable Energy delegates in the UK Pavilion with an excellent opportunity to showcase their products and services," said Rosenfeld.

POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels will continue to present the newest technologies and sought after speakers in the renewable energy field. "We're generating many good ideas for new technology, there are still plenty of tremendously promising technologies and approaches," said Dan Arvizu, the new Director of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
