Waste Heat-to-Electricity Devices, Wind and Tidal Turbine Technology Create a Clean Energy Portfolio for the Development of Energy Efficient and Cost Effective Solutions

POINT ROBERTS, Wash., March 27th, 2006 - www.RenewableEnergyStocks.com (RES), a leading investor and industry portal for the renewable energy sector, introduces new-featured company Encore Clean Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: ECLN), developer of four low-cost, high-efficiency clean energy technologies. Encore's proprietary technologies focus on improving energy efficiency, reducing costs and providing new methods for energy generation.

According to Clean Edge Inc. in their 2006 Clean Energy report, clean-energy technologies to include wind, solar, biofuels, and hydrogen, will grow from $40 billion in 2005, to $167 billion by 2015. This market growth continues to be driven by the nation's focus on reducing its dependence on foreign oil, reducing energy costs and protecting the environment as the power demands continue to grow.

Encore's MPG tm or "Magnetic Piston Generator", a heat-to-electricity conversion technology which is currently under development, is expected to generate electricity with higher fuel efficiency and lower emissions than conventional internal combustion engine-powered electric generators or even hydrogen fuel cells according to the Company. To capitalize on the clean energy market, Encore recently announced a new venture with gas-handling specialist Valerus Compression Services, LLP to jointly develop Encore's waste heat-to-electricity devices, such as the MPG, for the oil and gas compression and wellhead services business, converting the combustion waste heat produced by gas pipeline compressors and the geothermal heat contained in oil and gas well produced-water into usable clean electricity.

Encore's clean energy technology portfolio also includes, through it majority partnership with World, Wind and Water LLC, the construction of operational prototypes of a patented high-torque kinetic energy turbine that can be configured as a wind turbine (the "SideWinder"), which is expected to harness the power of low-speed winds, or as a hydro-turbine (the "RiverBank") to harness the tidal power of the world's rivers.

"For every megawatt of energy produced by a power plant or combustion engine, over a megawatt of waste heat is produced, and currently discarded up a smokestack, out a tailpipe or through a cooling tower. Encore MPG heat-converters should be able to harness this currently wasted energy and convert it into valuable new sources of electricity. Also Encore's SideWinder wind turbine is expected to have the potential to establish a "rooftop wind" industry utilizing lower-speed winds that other conventional wind turbines are unable to harness," states Encore CEO Dan Hunter.
