Under the tagline "Challenges for the waste and power generation industries" the worldwide only exhibition and conference for energy from waste and biomass once again invites vendors and users to discuss technologies and markets.

Interested speakers can now transmit short descriptions (abstracts) of their proposed papers via the http://www.wte-expo.com website. The site also details guidelines for abstract submission and a list of the conference topics. For the next "waste to energy" more than 100 exhibitors and over 2,000 delegates are expected to participate.

About "waste to energy"

The international exhibition and conference "waste to energy" is the worldwide only event dedicated to energy recovery from different waste streams and biomass. Plant manufacturers, technology suppliers, service providers and reseach facilities present the latest on waste as a resource in Bremen.

Industries like cement production have been using secondary fuels from waste in their power plants for years to save on energy costs. With prices for conventional fuels rising, this option is becoming increasingly attractive for other sectors. Biomass in the form of sludges, food waste, forestry waste or energy crops also gains importance. It can be utilized to generate power and heat in biomass plants, or to produce biogas or vehicle fuels. "waste to energy" provides the forum for this growth market.

At the 2005 exhibition 96 organizations exhibited, and more than 1,500 delegates from around the world came to Bremen to learn more about technologies, systems and areas of use. "waste to energy" is organized by Messe Bremen, with cooperation partner Freesen & Partner GmbH responsible for recruiting exhibitors and conference speakers.
