ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO, September 19, 2007 — UniRac has reached a significant milestone having shipped over 1 million linear feet of aluminum rail for photovoltaic (PV) mounting systems in the U.S., for the first 8 months of 2007. UniRac estimates that volume of rail would reach from San Francisco, CA to Reno, Nevada, reflecting the incredible demand UniRac has seen for its racking solutions.

UniRac leads the PV mounting market with industry-leading technology and a breadth of product solutions and services designed to meet the needs of any type of solar installation.

Since delivering its first PV mounting system in 1998, UniRac has experienced remarkable growth of its innovative and superior racking systems, which have been used for many prominent installations such as the Google Campus in Mountain View, California, the largest corporate solar installation in the U.S. to date. UniRac was also chosen for the solar installation at Universal Studios, in CA, where UniRac provided a custom designed solution that helped bring the project in on schedule, under very tight timelines.

"Our numbers speak for themselves, we've hit a milestone far earlier in the year than in the past," said UniRac CEO Doug May "UniRac's PV Mounting systems are field-proven, offering customers high quality, versatile systems that are quick and simple to install, significantly reducing time and costs associated with solar projects. Our accomplishments to date are great, but when you are constantly listening to your customers and partners, you keep improving. This milestone is exciting for us as a company."

"We have always been able to rely on UniRac to respond quickly to our needs," said Michael Kahn, President of Kahn Solar. "We've implemented many custom installations using UniRac's mounting systems, so when we got the project at Universal Studios in California, I knew we could count on UniRac to come up with a design that would work for this challenging site, and be able to deliver according to our construction schedule."

With almost 5 million linear feet of rail shipped since its launch in 1998, UniRac continues to be the proven market leader in the PV Mounting market in North America. UniRac will be showcasing its new solutions at Solar Power 2007, in Long Beach, CA, from September 24-27, 2007, booth # 546.

TRA SNOW AND SUN - SOLAR TILE MOUNT

TRA SNOW AND SUN - SOLAR TILE MOUNT

You haven't installed a tile mount that is easier to install than the Solar Tile Mount manufactured by TRA Snow and Sun. Solar Tile Mount is used on all tile roof profiles: flat, mid, and high. It is made in the USA of aluminum alloy for strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Solar Tile Mount is built to allow more ease in installation with more rise from the tile surface to the rail for better air flow below panels. The adjustable base is longer than most allowing attachment 6" to the left or right to have the bracket in the base of the pan of the tile and still fasten to the rafter. Solar Tile Mount is adjustable for counter batten systems from ¾" to 3". The horizontal rail is directly above base fasteners giving greater uplift resistance than any other system. For superior waterproofing apply TRA Snow and Sun's butyl backed VersaFlash aluminum flashing. No tile flashing is needed on top of the tile for greater labor and material cost savings.
