As part of their ongoing commitment to innovation, leadership and working closely with their partners, Unirac today launched the solar mounting industry's top business-to business portal, designed to provide distributors with seamless access to information and services. To help them do business more easily and efficiently, this new portal offers distributors the ability to access online tools, account and order information 24/7; from anywhere they have internet access. The business portal provides up-to-the-minute information on all orders, including the ability to view and track shipments, view sales orders, order history, and outstanding invoices, as well provides exclusive access to Unirac price lists, training information and marketing materials.

In addition, Unirac today introduced a series of comprehensive, innovative estimating tools; the first of their kind to be offered by a PV mounting manufacturer; which allows customers to configure systems for Unirac's SolarMount,SunFrame and U-LA solutions. These engineering and estimating tools will empower Unirac's customers to quickly determine the cost of a PV system, allowing them to consider upfront price, as well as costs attached to installation, length of rail spans and the number of penetrations.

The first of these estimating tools provides quick and easy access to detailed information on Unirac's flush roof solutions (SolarMount, SolarMount Light, SolarMount Heavy Duty and SunFrame); including pricing, engineering calculations and documentation specific to a customer's array layouts. This tool also provides rail span calculations which maximize the distance between attachments, thus speeding installation time and minimizing penetrations on the roof; proven engineering that provides installers with upfront certainty and peace of mind. Unirac is also introducing the first downloadable estimator for their U-LA solution, now providing customers with an immediate pricing estimate. Unirac's comprehensive database of modules includes most of those currently on the market today, and allows customers to enter additional specifications if their specific module is not listed.
