SPG Solar, Inc. has been nominated in the AlwaysOn GoingGreen Top 100 Competition. The second annual competition selects the top emerging private companies that create new business opportunities in green technology.

SPG Solar is nominated in the category of Solar Energy for its innovative solar photovoltaic (PV) system solutions. As an industry leading turnkey solar integrator, SPG Solar has completed many "firsts" in the industry. The company was the first to design and install a solar PV system mounted on an earthen dam for the Sonoma County Water Agency, as well as designed and installed the first of its kind, large-scale water floating PV system, Floatovoltaic', at Far Niente Winery. SPG Solar's team of professionals bring over 1,000,000 hours of hands-on solar PV design, engineering and installation experience to develop custom, cutting-edge clean energy solutions for projects that would seem otherwise unfeasible.

The winners of the competition will be honored at GoingGreen (http://goinggreen.goingon.com/homepage) on September 15-17th at Cavallo Point, San Francisco, California.
