Rogue Engineering announces the launch of their new line of FireFly Charge Controllers with Solar Light Control. After years of engineering and testing, the FireFly product line is ready to be released August 2008. The Rogue FireFly will be one of the only 5 amp controllers on the market today to offer "3 stage charging" in a product line of 12 and 24 volt charge controllers with solar light control.
The simple light controller uses the solar panel as a light sensor, and automatically turns the light on at night and off during the day, allowing for easy on/off lighting with no effort on the part of the customer. Consuming less than 1 milli-amp, the Rogue FireFly Controller provides optimal battery performance. The rugged charger can be powered by a solar panel or an AC adaptor for either on or off-grid systems and features linear charging, pluggable connectors, and easy automatic on/off light control all in a small convenient package.
The FireFly Charge Controller product line was a cumulative creation by Rogue Engineering after making customized charge controllers for clients.
