SunWize Technologies Expands its Emphasis on Off-Grid Residential Applications
Appoints Joanne Rogers as Director of Business Development

San Jose, CA September 22, 2008 - SunWize Technologies, Inc. has recently appointed Joanne Rogers as the company's Director of Development for its Distributed Power Group. Her primary focus will be on the off-grid residential market. This newly created position reflects SunWize's commitment to this important segment of the photovoltaic (PV) market.

Ms. Rogers has held a number of positions at SunWize since 1997. She was most recently the Director of Sales, Distributed Power Group. She has been instrumental in creating and building SunWize's extensive nationwide dealer network. Ms. Rogers was first introduced to the off-grid PV market while working for Sunelco from 1990 to 1995, and for SouthWest PV Systems during 1996. In total, Ms. Rogers has more than fifteen years of experience in the off-grid marketplace.
