HYDROSPHERE UK TO SHOW RANGE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOLUTIONS AT ALL ENERGY 2009

Hydrosphere UK Ltd has confirmed that it will be exhibiting at the All Energy exhibition in Aberdeen in May 2009. The company, which is attending the show for the first time, will be showing its growing range of renewable and solar-powered navigation aids and lighting systems.

Hydrosphere UK Ltd has confirmed that it will be exhibiting at the All Energy exhibition in Aberdeen in May 2009. The company, which is attending the show for the first time, will be showing its growing range of renewable and solar-powered navigation aids and lighting systems including the solar-powered Vega and Carmanah marine and land-based lighting units, navigation marker buoys and the Carmanah solar-powered area lighting.

Says Jeff Gibson, director, Hydrosphere UK Ltd: "The All Energy exhibition will provide Hydrosphere with the perfect vehicle to demonstrate our extensive range of renewable and solar-powered lighting and navigation solutions to the market. The renewable energy market is growing rapidly and we see it as a key sector for Hydrosphere and our products. We have extensive knowledge in this sector, as a supplier of renewable energy lighting and navigation systems as well as working with renewable energy companies including many of the UK's wind turbine farms. The knowledge we have garnered from working on these and many other renewable energy projects mean we have a comprehensive understanding of the market and the unique needs of those operating in it."
First in Hydrosphere's line up on its All Energy 2009 stand will be the solar-powered Carmanah EverGEN' - an eco-friendly, alternative energy solution ideally suited to lighting pedestrian pathways, perimeter and fence lighting and transit lighting requirements. It needs no trenching, cabling or wiring and requires no scheduled maintenance for up to five years.
The EverGEN' provides intelligent operating profiles that allow for a change in illumination levels throughout the night. The EverGen' is fully compliant with IES full cutoff optics and International Dark Sky regulations and offers superior lumen maintenance and optimum colour temperature. Built from environmentally sound components, the EverGEN' ensures enhanced light uniformity and has an instant restrike facility.
Also taking centre stage on the Hydrosphere stand will be the Carmanah M708 marine lantern. Suitable for high intensity navigation and hazard-marking applications, the M708 has a visible range of up to five miles and a peak intensity of 125 Candela at its highest intensity setting. Each lantern can be set for three ranges of intensity and its robust and compact design offers maintenance-free operation and protection against the worst of the elements.
The self-contained M708, which generates power via its four 4-watt solar panels, is fully configurable with 256 flash patterns and offers optional GPS synchronisation that enables two or more lanterns to flash in unison. The 708 is available in all IALA chromaticity colours - red, green, amber and white.
Alongside the Carmanah M708 will be the Vega VLB 36 self contained unit. With larger solar panels and increased battery capacity the Vega unit is particularly suited to heavier duty cycles at higher latitudes. This is now available with a class B low intensity obstruction light lens for marking aviation hazards.
Completing the line up at the show will be the self-contained, solar powered Carmanah 702 three mile and Carmanah 601 two mile lights.

Concludes Mr Gibson: "We are looking forward to our first All Energy exhibition and hope it will be a great success for Hydrosphere. The renewable energy sector is a dynamic one that has an innovative approach to the development of new technologies. Its importance to the general economy will only continue to grow as the focus on, and requirement for, environmentally sustainable technologies gathers pace."
