Prothea completes its first round of equity fundraising and start up Prothea Solar to develop a pipeline of 20MW solar energy projects in Italy, France and the Mediterranean area.

Prothea Solar has been established in November 2009 as the solar PV development and investment wing of Prothea, after successful completion of the first round of equity fundraising.
The mission of Prothea Solar is to become a relevant green power producer with a vision to develop, build and operate over 20MW of solar PV assets over the next 2 years.
Principal geographic focus is on the Italian, France and other Mediterranean Solar PV markets.
Prothea Solar has already started the development of its first 3 projects in Italy (Regions of Lazio, Molise and Calabria).
