Trina Solar Limited, a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products from ingots to modules, recently hosted customers from around the world at its Changzhou headquarters for a grand opening of its new factory.

Trina Solar Limited (NYSE: TSL) ("Trina Solar" or the "Company"), a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products from ingots to modules, recently hosted customers from around the world at its Changzhou headquarters for a grand opening of its new factory. Trina Solar has added capacity for 2010 production of its high-quality, competitively priced solar photovoltaic modules to meet recent customer demand. Hosting 80 companies with 15 from the United States, Trina Solar introduced these customers to its manufacturing facility and introduced them to the new showroom highlighting Trina Solar's Black and Utility scale modules, along with Trina Solar's break through Quad Max technology and higher efficiency.

Several US distributors, developers and PPA companies attended the visit, as did many of Trina Solar's European customers. Attendees also visited the World Expo and witnessed the signing and launch of the new Quality Lab authorized by TUV Rheinland Group, Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) and the local Changzhou government. These arrangements are in recognition of Trina Solar's strong commitment to implement world-class quality and testing methodology to ensure solar module performance.

"I was truly impressed with the vertically integrated manufacturing process and vision of the Trina Solar team. Observing them first hand has given me the confidence to expand our relationship," said Chad Dickason, Principal, Hamilton Solar.

Trina Solar aims to develop solid relationships with prominent solar developers and invited them to see the manufacturing facility and the recent expansion in capacity to demonstrate the cutting edge manufacturing and testing process Trina Solar employs in its module production. Additionally, Trina Solar and their customers visited the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai where Trina Solar partnered with one of the largest and most experienced global renewable energy developers, Enfinity NV ("Enfinity"), to cover the roofs of the Belgian-European Pavilion and the Theme Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo with the Company's modules.

"Trina Solar runs a world-class manufacturing facility. After seeing it myself, I understand how they are able to offer reliable modules at a competitive price," said Michael Lafferty, President, Lafferty Electric Technologies, LLC

The customers were there to celebrate the announcement that Trina Solar will sponsor the Renault Formula One racing team. This new partnership is expected to increase Trina Solar's global brand awareness while promoting the wide-scale adoption of sustainable technologies. The sponsorship through its subsidiary, Trina Solar (Switzerland) AG, will take the form of on-car logo branding on the nose of the R30 race car, ensuring excellent opportunities for worldwide marketing exposure. Furthermore, this partnership will showcase day-to-day applications of solar PV technology in various high-visibility areas of the Renault F1 Team operations including the team's paddock motor home and VIP hospitality facilities.

Trina Solar and the Renault F1 Team will also conduct a joint analysis and evaluation program to assess how Trina Solar technologies can be integrated into the operations and ongoing upgrades of the Renault F1 Team's Enstone, United Kingdom production facilities in a performance-proven, cost-effective manner.

"Trina Solar is thrilled to partner with the Renault F1 Team to bring high-quality solar PV to the world of Formula One racing," said Mr. Jifan Gao, Chairman and CEO of Trina Solar. "With F1's proven ability to boost brand awareness, we look forward to working with Renault F1 Team at Formula One events around the world to spur the development and adoption of sustainable technologies."
