KEPCO INTRODUCES DC ELECTRONIC LOADS

Kepco introduces its new EL Series of modular, air-cooled, DC electronic loads with power ratings from 1KW to 5KW. The EL series electronic loads are well suited for production test applications for power sources such as batteries, power supplies, generators, chargers and fuel cells.

Kepco is pleased to introduce its new EL Series of modular, air-cooled, DC electronic loads with power ratings from 1KW to 5KW. Twenty (20) standard single channel models have maximum test capabilities of 50, 200, 400 and 600 volts. Dual channel models with two completely independent loads in a single chassis in any combination of power up to 4KW maximum are available. Constant Voltage, Constant Current, Constant Power, Constant Resistance and Constant Conductance modes are all supported. Higher current and power operation may be achieved via parallel connection using a built-in master/slave capability. Remote isolated analog programming and digital control by USB and RS 232 are standard; GPIB and Ethernet control are optional via single control card.The EL Series offers unique Functional Modularity. This feature allows the load to be factory retrofitted to increase load power/current as required for undefined future applications. Purchase the capability needed today with assurance of future power/current upgrades. The result is an Electronic Load maximizing the most important specification: VALUE = $/Watt. When the requirements increase, the load may be upgraded. The Kepco EL series electronic loads are especially well suited for production test applications for power sources such as batteries, power supplies, generators, chargers and fuel cells as well as a wide variety of R & D applications.
