"The Bring Solar Home Campaign is revolutionizing the solar marketplace and helping to realize our dream of San Antonio as a national solar leader. We are honored to be listed among such a distinguished group of nominees and look forward to the community supporting our efforts," said Bill Sinkin, Chairman of Solar San Antonio.

In September of 2010, the local non-profit organization launched the Bring Solar Home program to help homeowners install solar energy. The campaign connects residents with local installers, provides information on financial incentives, and worked with San Antonio Credit Union to create the very first Solar Home Improvement Loan. By simplifying the process of "going solar," Solar San Antonio has contributed over 70 new solar installations in San Antonio in the past five months and anticipates continued success.
