Powerway engineers provide installation guidance to Indian PV power site

Powerway is China's leading PV mounting system designer and manufacturer with in house extrusion facilities, fabrication workshop, engineering team, testing lab, etc.

Powerway is working closely with a prominent green energy company in India to build a megawatt power plant. The plant, located in Chennai, India, will be completed and commissioned in May.


The project utilizes both polycrystalline and thin film modules. Separate racking systems were designed to accommodate the different requirements of the two module types.

In mid-February Powerway sent a PV engineer and a structural engineer to give installation guidance for the Indian project site. With the mutual interchange on the site the customer was even more impressed by our product advantage and design concepts. In the meantime, we learned more about the Indian solar market, which will help us improve our future designs.
