Without drilling, without ballast- Roof Top project at Monash University completed

Clenergy is pleased to announce that the roof top project at Monash University, Clayton Campus, in Australia has been completed by Maxim Renewable using the innovative PV-ezRack SolarRoof interface for Klip-Lok type roofing.

Clenergy is pleased to announce that the roof top project at Monash University, Clayton Campus, in Australia has been completed by Maxim Renewable using the innovative PV-ezRack SolarRoof interface for Klip-Lok type roofing. The project consists of eight sub arrays with a total capacity of 153kW.

The Clenergy Klip-Lok interface provides an easy and inexpensive way to mount on Klip-Lok type roofs without penetrations. No rails were used in the installation and no holes were drilled through the roof. Solar modules were fixed with clamps directly to the Clenergy interface, which are secured firmly onto the roof rib.

"The interface for Klip-Lok type roofs is designed with EPDM rubber with the benefits of high corrosion resistance and with the maximum possible lifespan," said the product manager for PV-ezRack mounting systems, Thomas Gerstch, "It is compatible with Clenergy's tilt legs allowing tilt angles from 15 to 60 degree to maximize the system performance."

Technical Data:
Roof Type: KlipLok 406, KlipLok 700, Speed Deck Ultra
Mounting Method: Clamping
Colour: Silver
Compatibility: Tilt Legs, L Feet, Inter Clamp, End Clamp
Material: AL/6005-T5, EPDM rubber

Kipp & Zonen - Smart SMP Pyranometers

Equipped with an extremely low power, smart interface the Smart SMP pyranometers offer industry standard digital and amplified analog outputs within the well-known CMP series housings. The output range is programmed so that all SMP pyranometers have identical sensitivities, allowing easy installation and exchange for recalibration. Serial communication allows access to measurement data, instrument status, operating parameters and calibration history. Building on the proven CMP Series design and technology that is used around the world, the new SMP pyranometers add digital signal processing and interfaces optimised for industrial data acquisition and control systems.
