From Northwestern to Eastern China—— The Expanding Application of our PowerScrew System

Following the successful completion of two ground power plants, with installations of more than 30MW, Powerway has firmly established its reputation as a leader in the manufacture of solar mounting system in the PV industry.

Following the successful completion of two ground power plants, with installations of more than 30MW, Powerway has firmly established its reputation as a leader in the manufacture of solar mounting system in the PV industry.

Powerway's newest project is being undertaken in Hefei City, Anhui Province, where it is necessary first to dispose of excavated earth. The disposal methods are as follows:

1. Rolling compaction: to a general thickness of about 30cm.
2. Soil replacement: excavated earth is dug out and replaced with layers of fine or coarse sand to increase bearing capacity.
3. Tamping: a drop hammer is used to compress backfilled material.
4. Detritus indentation: detritus is pressed into the backfilled earth.
5. Concrete application: cement paste is poured all around the ground screws to increase their bearing capacity.

After one of the above disposal methods is employed, the bearing capacity of prepared fill can reach 120KPa and PowerScrews can be installed.

Powerway solar mounting system is renowned for having the most professional and effective installation devices, as well as the most experienced installation personnel. We also take pride in coordinating with our customers to ensure prompt delivery and a safe PowerScrew System.

Kipp & Zonen - DustIQ the novel soiling monitoring solution for solar panels

Soiling of the panel glass is one of the major problems in the rapidly expanding solar energy market, with the attendant loss of efficiency and reduction in performance ratios. Now, there's a new, simple and very cost-effective alternative. Based on Kipp & Zonen's unique Optical Soiling Measurement (OSM) technology, DustIQ can be easily added to new or existing solar arrays and integrated into plant management systems. The unit is mounted to the frame of a PV panel and does not need sunlight to operate. It continuously measures the transmission loss through glass caused by soiling, so that the reduction in light reaching the solar cells can be calculated.
