SHELTON, CONNECTICUT and TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 30, 2011) - OPEL Technologies Inc. (TSX VENTURE:OPL) ("OPEL" or "the Company"), a leading global supplier of high concentration photovoltaic ("HCPV") solar panels, solar tracker systems and a semiconductor device and process developer, announces that OPEL is aware of no material change in the position of the Company that would result in the current decline in share price, apart from the uncertainty in the general economic environment.

Over the past few weeks, OPEL has been aware and followed with interest certain trading patterns, such as the selling of small amounts of volume into bids every 15 minutes, over a that period. We are justifiably concerned about the trading patterns and the effect on our shareholders. We will continue to monitor the trading patterns.

OPEL management would like to reassure its stakeholders that our business plan continues as presented to shareholders in our last Annual General Meeting and Quarterly Report and that Company initiatives have the full backing of the Board of Directors. The Company is looking forward to releasing further updates in the near future as current initiatives close.

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide - the ultimate solution for fast and easy installation of the rail-less RockIt racking system on composition shingle roofs. Smart Slide conforms to UL 441 and TAS 100 (A)-95 for wind and wind-driven rain, providing a super-strong watertight seal that is achieved through compression, in most cases without the need for additional sealant. The waterproofing sealant is embedded deep into the granules of the shingle, thanks to the integrated flexible foam layer that provides cushioning. This ensures a secure fit that conforms to any architectural-style shingle. With UltraGrip Technology™, you can rely on a secure installation, as it absorbs the movement created by thermal expansion and contraction. The pre-installed sealing pads are compatible with all composition shingle roofs, making it the ideal choice, even in ambient temperatures as low as 5 degrees.
