JuiceBox Energy, a privately-held Silicon Valley company committed to providing safe, reliable, intelligent, and connected energy storage, has achieved a significant milestone of 5MWh peak-shifted by their network of distributed residential energy storage systems. The deployed systems have collectively provided homeowners with 25,000 hours of reliable back-up power and a reduction of approximately 9,000 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions.

In addition to these milestones, JuiceBox Energy is actively engaged with utilities across the United States to review field performance data from systems deployed in a half dozen states, several of which have been peak-shifting for more than six months. The JuiceBox Energy network can display every installed system on a fleet management portal, allowing a utility or third-party aggregator to own, operate, and deploy distributed energy assets in areas of known power deficiency.
The JuiceBox Energy storage system is an intelligent, 8.6kWh, 5.5kW lithium-ion battery system designed for safe, reliable, long lasting power management. It is designed, engineered, and manufactured by JuiceBox Energy based on their years of automotive lithium ion control systems engineering. The systems can be aggregated to support utility demand response programs, where available. The systems are designed to support grid-tied, grid isolated in the event of grid failure, and off-grid configurations.
Available from certified installers nationwide, each system delivers more than 10 years or 4,000 cycles of dedicated peak shifting, back-up power, energy efficiency, as well as enables participation in emerging transactive energy exchanges. The JuiceBox Energy storage system is housed in an indoor/outdoor UL-rated enclosure.
