Ambassador of Liechtenstein and City Officials to Visit Unirac and Other Local Businesses

Unirac recently became part of Hilti, a company that originated and is headquartered in Liechtenstein.

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, July 5, 2012 — The City of Albuquerque is hosting a delegation from the Principality of Liechtenstein in its continuing efforts to bolster international business in Albuquerque.


Ambassadors Claudia Fritsche and Shirin R. Tahir-Kheli will join City officials in a tour of local firm Unirac from 10 a.m. to noon tomorrow. Unirac recently became part of Hilti, a company that originated and is headquartered in Liechtenstein.

"I'm very excited to have this delegation here in Albuquerque. The local assets we have here truly complement the capabilities of the various companies based out of Liechtenstein," Mayor Richard J. Berry said. "I'd like to see more collaboration and direct investment emerge from this partnership we are developing."

In addition to the tour, City officials will meet with Ambassador Fritsche to explore other potential business partnerships and investment opportunities between the City of Albuquerque and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
