Flying over any traffic jams: Air Charter Service is the exclusive provider of shuttle flights to HUSUM WindEnergy 2012

Frankfurt/Main, 31 July 2012. No traffic jams, no hanging around: Air Charter Service (ACS) will offer shuttle flights directly from Hamburg to the international meeting point for the wind power sector on 18 – 22 September 2012; it is the exclusive partner of the HUSUM WindEnergy trade fair. ACS, on

The shuttle flights will operate between Hamburg Airport and the Husum/Schwesing airfield, just three kilometres away from the trade fair site. Services for the trade fair visitors will start at Hamburg Airport. Passengers will have access to their own lounge there. As a result, ACS will provide exhibitors and visitors with the fastest and most comfortable way of travelling to and from the fair. Tickets are available for as little as EUR 189 (plus the applicable rate of VAT). Bookings and reservations can be made directly on the home page (the online shop) at www.husumwindenergy.com. It is also possible to reach the trade fair from any other location in a simple and flexible manner by using the global charter services operated by ACS.

ACS will also offer pleasure flights over the region, which will allow passengers to gain very unusual impressions of Northern Friesland and its coastal region from a new perspective.

"We're delighted that the partnership with Air Charter Service will provide a direct link between the wind power sector's most important trade fair and scheduled European air services through Hamburg. This is an ideal opportunity to enable people to reach our trade fair site in the breezy region of Northern Friesland in an easy, uncomplicated manner. This will also ease the congestion for local traffic," says Peter Becker, Managing Director of Messe Husum & Congress.

Alexander Hertle, General Manager of Air Charter Service Deutschland, underlines the following message: "Our flights from Hamburg provide a time-saving and reasonably priced alternative, particularly for the many people attending the fair who have very busy schedules."

HUSUM WindEnergy is not only the most important trade fair in the international wind power sector, but it has also been the leading meeting point for all the major players and decision-makers for almost 25 years.

Air Charter Service (ACS) was founded in Great Britain in 1990 and is one of the world's leading providers of passenger and cargo charter flights. The company with global operations has its headquarters in London and its business is spread across its commercial, executive and cargo charter divisions. The company employs more than 250 people at 15 business centres on five continents. In addition to its headquarters in London, ACS operates branches at places like Dubai, Johannesburg, Moscow, New York, Paris, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo. Air Charter Service has an office in Germany – at Frankfurt/Main.

The central element in the services provided by ACS is an electronic aircraft database, which the company uses to track the movements and availability of more than 50,000 aircraft around the globe. This enables the brokers to offer their customers just the right air transport at any time. ACS also organises the complete transfer of goods to the final destination, if required. Air Charter Service organised more than 6,000 charter flights during 2011 and its turnover exceeded US$ 400 million.
