Registration Now Open for Geothermal Meeting

The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) the world's premier geothermal association, has opened online registration for its upcoming Annual Meeting.


Members and non-members may now register online at www.geothermal.org to attend the 36th GRC Annual Meeting themed "Geothermal: Reliable, Renewable, Global," Sept. 30-Oct. 3, 2012, at the Peppermill Resort Spa, Reno, NV.

"We are developing a meeting that reaches out to the geothermal community that is content rich, timely and appealing," said GRC Interim Executive Director Steve Ponder.

The annual meeting attracts leaders of the geothermal industry from every corner of the globe and professionals interested in working in the geothermal business. The conference is designed to promote the geothermal industry and encourage networking, business and educational opportunities for all attendees.

The 2012 gathering will offer a number of activities including educational sessions led by industry experts, a networking tradeshow, tours of geothermal facilities in northern Nevada, and a number of opportunities to interface with industry leaders.

Early birds who register before August 31 pay only $650 as members or $750 if non-members. The regular admission fee is $750 for members and $900 for non-members. The non-member registration includes GRC membership through 2012. Students with a current identification card from an accredited institution may attend free of charge.

Registration to the GRC Annual Meeting also includes entry to the GEA Energy Expo.
