Intersolar North America Expands 2013 Conference and Exhibition

Due to demand, organizers add energy storage exhibition segment and
introduce new Intersolar AWARD project categories

SAN FRANCISCO, September 12, 2012 – Intersolar North America, the premier solar industry exhibition and conference in North America for solar professionals to exchange information and develop business opportunities in the U.S. solar market, today announced two exciting additions to its 2013
exhibition and conference: the introduction of an energy storage exhibition segment, and the
expansion of the Intersolar AWARD competition for solar projects. The new developments underscore Intersolar's commitment to highlighting the entire system of solar technologies, as well as the practical applications of new technologies that will further solar market growth.

Energy Storage Key to Boosting Solar Capacity
Building off of strong industry demand for commercialized storage technologies and the success of this year's PV ENERGY WORLD special exhibit, the new exhibition segment will feature the latest technologies from energy storage companies. It will also host state-of-the-art presentations and panel discussions on the PV ENERGY WORLD stage that will provide attendees with information about the newest products and market developments in the storage industry. Energy Storage will join five other market segments on the show floor, including PV Cells and Modules; PV Manufacturing Technologies; Components, Mounting and Tracking Systems; Balance of Systems and Solar Heating and Cooling Technologies.

Currently, about two-thirds of the total exhibition space is already booked for next year's show in San Francisco. Approximately 43 percent of exhibitors returned to the show for the third, fourth and fifth time, and noted their satisfaction with the quality of the exhibition in terms of lead generation and brand building as reasons for their return to the show. Intersolar AWARD Competition Adds Solar Heating and Cooling Category for projects in North America
All exhibitors of Intersolar's global event series are eligible to participate in the Intersolar AWARD competition, which organizers will expand next year to include separate categories for solar power projects and solar heating and cooling installations due to strong demand. As a result, there will be three additional Intersolar AWARD winners named during the 2013 event series.

The award recognizes landmark projects that utilize advance technology, incorporate aesthetic and architectural concepts, and exemplify outstanding services and products. Three winners were announced during a special awards ceremony at Intersolar North America 2012, including Enerworks Inc.

"Enerworks was very pleased to have been awarded the Intersolar North America project award for the Oxford Gardens Cooling project," said Suni Ball, general manager of Enerworks. "The award has already provided new opportunities within existing companies and introduced us to a completely new group of potential customers that were unaware of Enerworks and its capabilities before the award. It has also opened doors for collaboration and partnerships with manufacturers already supplying the solar thermal industry in North America."

The online submission process will open in October 2012 and additional information is available at www.intersolar.us (Exhibitor Service). All Intersolar AWARD finalists are offered additional marketing and promotional opportunities during the exhibition and conference.

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide - the ultimate solution for fast and easy installation of the rail-less RockIt racking system on composition shingle roofs. Smart Slide conforms to UL 441 and TAS 100 (A)-95 for wind and wind-driven rain, providing a super-strong watertight seal that is achieved through compression, in most cases without the need for additional sealant. The waterproofing sealant is embedded deep into the granules of the shingle, thanks to the integrated flexible foam layer that provides cushioning. This ensures a secure fit that conforms to any architectural-style shingle. With UltraGrip Technologyâ„¢, you can rely on a secure installation, as it absorbs the movement created by thermal expansion and contraction. The pre-installed sealing pads are compatible with all composition shingle roofs, making it the ideal choice, even in ambient temperatures as low as 5 degrees.
