K2, SolarMax and Trina Solar experts to deliver free product training for installers at SunGift training day

Experts from top manufacturers K2, SolarMax and Trina Solar will all be on hand on 15 May to deliver free training sessions for solar PV installers.

The session, organised by south west solar PV distributor SunGift Trade, will see these world-leading manufacturers showcase their latest products while passing on their knowledge, solutions and techniques.

Held at SunGift Trade's extensive distribution centre in Exeter, installers will get the chance to meet:

*Stuart Woodman from K2 who will talk about and demonstrate the best in flat roof system solutions and talk through the financial benefits of using ‘crossrail' on standard domestic installs.

*Simon Fry and Paul Evans (Senior Technical Sales Support) from SolarMax who will introduce the highly anticipated P-Series inverter – the newest range of inverters to come straight out of Switzerland, which will be launched in June.

*Mark Eastwood from Trina Solar, who will give a detailed product explanation about Trina Solar's Honey modules – twice world record breakers for polycrystalline module efficiency.

SunGift Trade manager distribution manager Scott Oldfield said: "When an installer is planning a job, we know how important it is for them to understand the exact details of the components they are using, as this plays an important part in ensuring the system performs to its maximum. It's therefore a central part of our relationship with both suppliers and installers to join up the two and ensure that the most up-to-date product knowledge is passed on directly.

"In addition to holding seminars we'll also be giving installers a significant amount of time to talk to our experts so that they can get the answers to any specific technical questions they may have.

The SunGift Trade training day takes place at the company's 10,000 square feet distribution centre (2 Christow Road, Marsh Barton, Exeter EX2 8QP) on 15 May from 9am to 1.15pm,. High-quality coffee will be served throughout the day machine and includes lunch provided by the award-winning Michael Caines restaurant. It is free to all solar PV installers, but places are limited.
