Energy-saving installation a boon to Texas children's service provider

Portage, IN (August 20, 2013) – Fronius USA, in partnership with SunWize Technologies, Inc., Circular Energy, and Graves Dougherty Hearon & Moody, has donated a photovoltaic (PV) system installation that includes a Fronius IG Plus V inverter to the Austin Children's Shelter in Austin, Texas. The installation is expected to provide significant energy savings to this important community services organization.

Suitable for both commercial and residential applications, the Fronius IG Plus V inverter is known for its reliability and dependable energy yield. It's available from 3 kW to 12 kW, and is capable of a maximum efficiency of 96.2 percent, one of the highest in the solar industry.

Austin Children's Shelter protects and heals children, youth and families recovering from abuse and neglect. It provides a range of services, including emergency shelter, teen parent programs with parent education and support, a transitional living program for youth ages 17-22, residential respite care, and Foster in Austin, a foster care placement agency.
