Designed to install solar arrays on composition/asphalt shingle roofs
WALNUT CREEK, CA, October 17, 2013 – Quick Mount PV announced today the immediate availability of the new E-Mount flashed solar roof mount. Designed to install solar arrays on composition/asphalt shingle roofs, E-Mount brings the patented waterproofing technology of the company's Classic Composition Mount, the best-selling roof mount in the solar industry, to the value-priced segment of the market.
"Some of our customers have had to go to commodity-quality mounts on some jobs for price reasons. Now, E-Mount allows them to use Quick Mount PV quality on those jobs," said Quick Mount PV CEO Claudia Wentworth. "The E-Mount provides our proprietary Elevated Water Seal technology at a modest premium over commodity products."
The lighter E-Mount aluminum flashing is 9x12 inches, compared to the Classic Comp's heavier, 12x12-inch flashing. The E-Mount comes with all stainless steel hardware, features easy single-bolt installation, and is made in the USA.
The E-Mount comes with a standard 10-year limited product warranty, while the Classic Comp's limited product warranty has been increased to 20 years.
