Marathon Special Products launches PV Fuse Holder designed to terminate to standard bus bar

This pv fuse holder is uniquely designed with terminals to accept standard bus bar as opposed to fabricated custom bars. The ability to use standard bus bar enables system integrators to significantly reduce the amount of copper bar purchased, bus bar fabrication, engineering and assembly time.

BOWLING GREEN, OHIO – Marathon Special Products, a division of Regal Beloit Corporation, is proud to announce an addition to our line of fuse holders. This pv fuse holder is uniquely designed with terminals to accept standard bus bar as opposed to fabricated custom bars. The ability to use standard bus bar enables system integrators to significantly reduce the amount of copper bar purchased, bus bar fabrication, engineering and assembly time.

The PV10BW will have UL4248-18 conformance up to 1000 volts and 30 amps, with terminals evaluated for use with 90°C wire. This design allows it to run cooler than traditional designs. In addition to the fuse holder's natural bus bar enclosing design, side and end covers are available for additional protection.

SolarEdge Technologies - Solar Inverters, Power Optimizers and PV Monitoring

The SolarEdge PV inverter combines sophisticated digital control technology with efficient power conversion architecture to achieve superior solar power harvesting and best-in-class reliability. The fixed-voltage technology ensures the solar inverter is always working at its optimal input voltage over a wider range of string lengths and regardless of environmental conditions. A proprietary data monitoring receiver has been integrated into the inverter and aggregates the power optimizer performance data from each PV module. This data can be transmitted to the web and accessed via the SolarEdge Monitoring Portal for performance analysis, fault detection and troubleshooting of PV systems.
