DAETWYLER CLEAN ENERGY'S MODU-RACK™- SA SYSTEM CHOSEN BY STRATA SOLAR TO HANDLE THEIR CHALLENGING SITE CONDITIONS

Huntersville, NC, May 28, 2014: Strata Solar chooses Daetwyler Clean Energy's Modu-Rack™-SA system for their 6.4MW installation in New Bern, Craven County, NC.

"We are pleased to have worked with Strata Solar on a new 6.4MW installation in New Bern, Craven County, NC." Stated Bill Taylor, President, Daetwyler Clean Energy. "This installation utilizes our Modu-Rack™-SA (soil anchor) system which provides solid support for 22,556 PV modules in the most challenging soils. Our soil anchor system is the most economical solution when dealing with silty sand conditions where traditional racking foundations are not a feasible option."

"Daetwyler offers a variety of high-quality products that allow us to develop projects with differentiated land topography." Stated Markus Wilhelm, CEO Strata Solar. "We chose this racking system for the New Bern Farm to accommodate the construction process by circumventing challenges posed by the unusual soil and site conditions."

The benefits of DCE's Modu-Rack™-SA are numerous. Daetwyler's exclusive soil anchoring foundation system provides for lower foundation costs. This, combined with the least number of foundations, module preassembly, and the overall ease of installation results in the lowest overall system cost.

Daetwyler Clean Energy is known throughout the renewable energy market as a premier solar mounting hardware manufacturer. WS510 Secondary Standard

WS510 Secondary Standard

In the monitoring of large photovoltaic (Utility Scale), in assessing potential sites (Solar-assessment), or in up and coming electricity cost saving initiatives projects (Commercial & Industrial), the WS510 now provides the market a secondary standard pyranometer, ultrasonic wind speed, ultrasonic wind direction, temperature, pressure and humidity all in a single unit.. This sensor meets the high demands of the world meteorological organization (WMO) through the active valving at air temperature measurement and the inertia- and maintenance-free measurement of wind speed and wind direction on the ultrasonic principle. Equipped with a Kipp & Zonen pyranometer of the secondary standards, the WS510-UMB Compact weather sensor from Lufft unites the precision of a variety of meteorological individual sensors in a single all-in-one device, for the first time.
