Integrated Energy Management System Optimizes the Utilization of Solar Power

RYE, N.Y., July 3, 2014 -- VARTA Microbattery, a global leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing of an extensive variety of high-technology rechargeable and primary batteries, today announced that VARTA Storage GmbH is featuring the Engion Home solar energy storage system at Intersolar North America, held July 8 through 10, 2014 in San Francisco, CA. Compact and powerful, Engion Home is a member of VARTA Storage's Engion family of energy storage solutions utilizing lithium ion (li-ion) technology to store energy generated by home photovoltaic (PV) systems. The Engion Home energy storage system is designed to store electricity from the electric utility grid and/or a PV solar system for use during electrical power outages.
