ReneSola Modules Approved to ReneSola Modules Certified (UL1703)

This achievement reflects ReneSola's ability to differentiate itself from the competition by providing high quality solar products that meet rigorous safety requirements.

ReneSola successfully passed module Type 1 fire testing in the 1st try for UL certification. This achievement reflects ReneSola's ability to differentiate itself from the competition by providing high quality solar products that meet rigorous safety requirements.

UL 1703 requires PV systems or modules fire classification must match the minimum fire classification of the roof assembly over which they are mounted. Type 1 fire testing certifies ReneSola modules compliance with UL1703 for integration with all Class A rated racking systems. SnapNrack is the first partner that was able to achieve Class A system rating with Renesola Type 1 rated modules and other solutions are in the process.

Although the new fire classification requirement's effective date has been delayed to January 1, 2015 by the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) due to an insufficient supply of UL 1703 rated modules/ systems, the new standard have been adopted and enforced by different AHJs (authorities having jurisdictions). Please contact your ReneSola sales and/or technical representative for more information.

This achievement reflects Renesola's ability to differentiate itself from the competition by providing high quality and safe solar products that meet rigorous testing and requirements, given the fact that only a few other manufacturers passed this test so far.
