STANDEX-MEDER ELECTRONICS TO EXHIBIT SENSORS, RELAYS AND MAGNETICS AT EVTECH 2014

Visit Booth #E723 for electronic component solutions ideal for electric and hybrid vehicle applications

Standex-Meder Electronics, a manufacturer of precise, reliable, and long-lasting miniature switches, sensors and relays, announces that it will exhibit a wide range of its electronic components at The Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo 2014, to be held September 16-18, 2014 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan. Standex-Meder will be highlighting its reed relays, planar transformers and inductors, fluid level sensors, and Hall Effect sensors. Standex-Meder engineers will be available at booth #E723 to discuss products and capabilities with show attendees.

Standex-Meder's line reed relays feature hermetically sealed contacts, protecting the relays from the elements and allowing for low-level signal switching impossible in electromechanical relays and semiconductors. In addition, reed relays have no moving parts, leading to increased useful lifetime and reliability. Standex-Meder reed relays are ideal for a wide variety of applications and are available in very small sizes to satisfy the space demands of nearly any application.

Also on display will be a range of planar transformers and inductors, which offer high-performance in a compact, low-profile package, designed for demanding applications, such as military, aerospace and medical sectors. There is a range of options available for a variety of applications, with planar transformer power ratings from 350 watts to 10 kilowatts. Planar transformers are custom manufactured to exacting standards with precise electrical characteristics to meet individual requirements.

In addition, engineers will be showcasing Standex-Meder's fluid-level sensors, featuring integrated magnetic floats and cable terminals to detect low fluid levels. These sensors are capable of detecting multiple fluid points, and are simple, dependable, and cost-effective.

HPS EnduraCoilTM Cast Resin Medium Voltage Transformer

HPS EnduraCoilTM Cast Resin Medium Voltage Transformer

HPS EnduraCoil is a high-performance cast resin transformer designed for many demanding and diverse applications while minimizing both installation and maintenance costs. Coils are formed with mineral-filled epoxy, reinforced with fiberglass and cast to provide complete void-free resin impregnation throughout the entire insulation system. HPS EnduraCoil complies with the new NRCan 2019 and DOE 2016 efficiency regulations and is approved by both UL and CSA standards. It is also seismic qualified per IBC 2012/ASCE 7-10/CBC 2013. Cast resin transformers are self-extinguishing in the unlikely event of fire, environmentally friendly and offer greater resistance to short circuits. HPS also offers wide range of accessories for transformer protection and monitoring requirements.
