Beckett Energy Systems and Steatite Sign Distribution Agreement to Bring Beckett's Commercialized Lithium-ion Advanced Battery Technology Solutions to Europe

This collaboration expands the reach of Beckett's light weight, energy dense, rechargeable lithium-ion battery solutions into the European Union.

CLEVELAND and REDDITCH, Worcestershire, England, Sept. 9, 2015 -- Beckett Energy Systems, a manufacturer of highly scalable 24 Volt lithium-ion modules and battery management systems, has signed a European distribution agreement with Steatite. This collaboration expands the reach of Beckett's light weight, energy dense, rechargeable lithium-ion battery solutions into the European Union.

The 24 volt large format lithium-ion module is a "commercial-off-the-shelf", UN transport approved, solution that will save OEM customers significant time and costs vs custom designed battery packs. The long cycle life modules can be easily configured to match the voltage and capacity requirements of the customer's application. The battery management system (BMS) keeps the high energy density lithium-ion battery modules operating safely and ensures their optimum performance for long life.
