Lawrence, MA - September 10, 2015 - Solectria - A Yaskawa Company, a leading U.S. PV inverter manufacturer, announced today that its SGI 750XTM, utility-scale PV inverters, have been chosen for the 18MW Glynn Solar Farm in Brunswick, Georgia, adjacent to the Golden Isles Airport. This project is one of many in the PV portfolio being built by Entropy Solar Integrators with Solectria inverters, financed through affiliates of Entropy Investment Management (Entropy).

This project is part of the Georgia Power Advanced Solar Initiative (GPASI), developed by Georgia Power in November 2012. The GPASI is an innovative solar program that was designed to procure 210MW of solar capacity in the state of Georgia. In July 2013, the Public Service Commission approved an additional 525MW.

"Entropy Solar Integrators has a strong partnership with Solectria. We have used their inverters in multiple utility-scale projects. Solectria has responsive support and customer service and the ability to supply high-quality inverters and competitive pricing that is essential for the continued deployment of low cost solar energy in the United States," said Clay Hartman, COO of Entropy Solar Integrators, LLC.

"Solectria - A Yaskawa Company is committed to delivering the most reliable, efficient and cost effective products to its customers. Our 1000 VDC, utility-scale inverters, the SGI 500XTM and SGI 750XTM, deliver this promise to our customers. These inverters were designed, developed and tested to the highest standards available today. We also value long-standing customer relationships such as that of Entropy Solar Integrators and appreciate their trust and commitment to Solectria and our solar solutions," said Phil Vyhanek, President of Solectria - A Yaskawa Company.

Solectria's SGI 750XTM will be on display at Solar Power International in Anaheim, California next week. Please stop by and visit Solectria's booth #2320 or learn more at www.solectria.com.

WS510 Secondary Standard

WS510 Secondary Standard

In the monitoring of large photovoltaic (Utility Scale), in assessing potential sites (Solar-assessment), or in up and coming electricity cost saving initiatives projects (Commercial & Industrial), the WS510 now provides the market a secondary standard pyranometer, ultrasonic wind speed, ultrasonic wind direction, temperature, pressure and humidity all in a single unit.. This sensor meets the high demands of the world meteorological organization (WMO) through the active valving at air temperature measurement and the inertia- and maintenance-free measurement of wind speed and wind direction on the ultrasonic principle. Equipped with a Kipp & Zonen pyranometer of the secondary standards, the WS510-UMB Compact weather sensor from Lufft unites the precision of a variety of meteorological individual sensors in a single all-in-one device, for the first time.
