Siemens Simatic S7-1500 software controller offers the advantages of the Simatic S7-1500 standard controller on industrial PCs. The new software-based controller is easy to use and engineer with Siemens Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) Portal.


Scalable performance features include integrated system diagnostics with a mouse click, motion and security functions and know how protection.

The software controller delivers maximum 24/7 system availability. It operates independently of the Windows system ensuring continued operation during restart or Windows failure.

Ideal for machines with high performance requirements, the flexible controller is compatible with many industrial PCs, including Simatic Panel PCs, Simatic Box, Rack PCs and ET 200 open controllers. It easily integrates user-specific functions via open interfaces.

The software controller features open user communication (TCP, UDP) to Windows applications or via the Windows Ethernet interfaces. It also accommodates up to two Profinet interfaces.
