BETHEL, Conn., July 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Solar-Log 370, nominee for the Intersolar AWARD in photovoltaics, will be presented on the Innovation & Application Stage at Intersolar North America, Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 11:15am-11:30am, Moscone Center, West Hall, Level 3, Alcove 2.

Intersolar received a total of 149 entries from 26 nations and the Solar-Log 370 was selected as one of the top 10 best in the category of photovoltaics.

Solar-Log 370 & GE Meter - Intersolar AWARD Finalist

The Solar-Log 370 was specifically designed for the U.S. market to provide advanced residential solar PV monitoring with power management. The Solar-Log 370 combines the market leading Solar-Log® monitoring technology into GE's popular 1-210+ residential revenue grade meter.

"This distinguishable product places Solar-Log® among the top of our monitoring competitors. No other product in the U.S. market so seamlessly integrates revenue grade metering with power management, while offering production forecast and real-time inverter direct monitoring." said Anton Kaeslin, President of Solar Data Systems, Inc. "In addition, we have recently integrated our 100th inverter brand with the Solar-Log 300, 1200, and 2000; compatibility unmatched by any other solar PV monitoring solution."

The Solar-Log 370 works with all residential solar PV plants up to 48kW in North America. An Ethernet port provides LAN access and 2 x RS485 ports provide optional features including self-consumption metering, inverter direct monitoring, remote disconnect, weather sensor, and grid feed-in control.

The Solar-Log 370 maximizes residential PV plant performance by comparing the generated power to either a solar irradiance sensor, produced power from nearby plants, open source performance databases (such as PVWatts), and to weather satellite irradiance information.

The Solar-Log 370 connects via cellular network or LAN, giving near real-time visualization of plant data. It is certified to UL standards 2735 and complies with UL 61010-1, CSA/CAN3-C17-M84 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 61010-1.

Visit booth 8621 at Intersolar and discover why Solar-Log® is the global market leader in independent residential and commercial solar PV monitoring. July 12-14th at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, West Hall, Level 2.

LG Solar Unveils NeON R with Enhanced Aesthetics and Energy Savings

The NeON R module features "Back Contact" cell technology delivering an entirely black panel that is aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient. The cell's seamless, surface blends perfectly into nearly all rooftop designs while the module's electrodes are positioned on the rear of the cell. Using LG's N-type cell structure, the panels produce 365W of energy, up to 7.3kWp, compared to 5.8kWp of the p-type cell. The module's new design minimizes LID, thereby delivering a longer lifespan and increased energy output.
