Industry leaders will discuss how they are simplifying solar data
WAKEFIELD, Mass., Sept. 13, 2016 - SGIP announces that industry leaders from the Orange ButtonSM initiative, which aims to streamline the way the solar industry establishes and manages data, will have strong presence at Solar Power International in Las Vegas, Nevada from September 12 to 15, 2016.
In addition to the Industry Trends presentation, SGIP will host Area A's Orange Button initiative face-to-face meeting at SPI on Thursday, September 15 from 9:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. Pacific Time, in Room N257 at Las Vegas Convention Center. The Orange Button Area A Requirements Working Group meeting will be an in-person working session where Orange Button participants will continue to develop market requirements and use cases while coordinating and sharing information across all Orange Button Working Groups. SGIP is one of four organizations selected by the U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative to lead the Orange Button initiative to standardize solar data and to increase the bankability of solar projects. Launching in April 2016, SGIP's Orange Button program has over 300 participants.
