COSTA MESA, CA, MAY 2, 2017 - MaxGen Energy Services, the leading independent solar operations and maintenance (O&M) company in the U.S, serving a large fleet of distributed generation (DG) and utility-scale solar power plants, announced today that it has appointed solar industry executive Michael Eyman as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Eyman will focus on building MaxGens solar O&M business, and will work closely with customers to help them meet the increasingly complex operational needs of their portfolios. Previously, Mr. Eyman was director of business development and strategy for the O&M unit at SunPower Corporation.

Prior to joining MaxGen Energy Services, Mr. Eyman was at SunPower where he was the Director for Business Development, and recently, the Director of Operations for the Commercial and Industrial portion of the portfolio. In addition, he was a Director of the Scholars Funds, advising on equity and debt investments in infrastructure projects across the Americas. He served in the US Navy and Navy Reserves for 21 years and retired in 2016 at the rank of Commander. Mr. Eyman earned his Masters of Business Administration at University of Texas, McCombs School of Business; his MS in Military and Foreign Affairs at Air Command and Staff College; and a Bachelors of Science from Texas A&M University.
