BECOME A PART OF THE U.S.A. DELEGATION*
On behalf of the Italian Trade Commission, the Ministry of
Economic Development, Toscana Promozione and Regione Toscana, in
cooperation with the American Consulate General in Florence and New
York University, we cordially invite you to be part of a trade mission and workshop dedicated
to renewable energies in Tuscany, Italy, taking place Oct. 6th & 7th,
2010.
Aimed at exploring and developing green business ties between Tuscany and
the U.S., the mission will allow American companies to meet Italian
counterparts and learn about doing business in Italy and in particular,
Tuscany.
The program consists of one day of practical workshops with
discussions by both American and Italian experts, and one or two days of site-visits to
prominent Tuscan companies making great strides in renewable energy
technology and deployment. Participants will be able to establish strategic
alliances, understand the business climate and explore exporting
opportunities and learn about new related technologies and methodologies.
In this context, the main subjects of discussion - biomass, hydrogen and
solar energy - will be thoroughly examined together with a general
discussions of broader renewable energy topics.
The
mission seeks to reaffirm the environmental and economic advantages of renewable
energy technologies, and to demonstrate how the U.S. and Tuscany can
cooperate in this field in mutually beneficial ways.
