Parker Hannifin Power Conversion System Selected By Primus Power to Support Energypod® Enabling Microgrid at US Marine Corps Base

The Energy Grid Tie Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE:PH), the global leader in motion and control technologies, today announced that Primus Power (Primus) selected its power conversion system to support Primus' EnergyPod® recently shipped to the Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar, California. Primus, a technology leader in grid-scale electrical energy storage, chose the Parker system following a test program conducted at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The 250 kW EnergyPod is part of a solar and storage microgrid located at the military base. The base was recently recognized for its energy-use reduction when it received EPA Federal Green Challenge Award for 2015.
