INTERSOLAR INDIA 2011: THE SUN RISES AND SHINES FORTH ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDIAN SOLAR MARKET

Mumbai, India and Pforzheim/Freiburg, Germany, December 23, 2011 – Intersolar India 2011 was well received by visitors and exhibitors alike as it strengthens its position as India's largest solar technology exhibition in 2011. A total of 264 exhibitors from 18 countries attended the exhibition at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Mumbai. The amount of companies represents an impressive 84% growth of exhibitors. The event also welcomed 9,314 visitors from 38 countries, representing a 62% growth compared to 2010. The Intersolar India Conference, beginning one day ahead of the exhibition at the Leela Kempinski Hotel in Mumbai, ran until December 15, 2011, continuing at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) for the final day. More than 100 speakers used the conference as a platform to exchange latest trends and technology in the solar market with 646 solar experts attending the high-level conference.
