The projects, totaling more than 5MW DC, will be supplied and installed in partnership with RPCS. All will feature DuraTrack® HZ v3 single-axis solar trackers by Array Technologies. Array's mounting technology keeps the modules following the sun on its course throughout the day, ensuring up to a 20 to 25% increase in energy production over fixed-tilt systems.

The technology group Wärtsilä has completed the delivery of an island grid energy solution on Graciosa in the Azores. The order for Graciólica, announced in January 2018, is a project by HowardScott. It was placed by Portuguese project company Graciolica Lda and supported by its majority shareholder, Denmark based Recharge A/S. The inauguration of the Graciosa Hybrid Renewable Power Plant took place on Graciosa on 20 February 2020. The purpose of the island grid is to reduce diesel fuel consumption and maximise renewable energy for the over 4,000 island inhabitants. The use of renewables will be increased from 15% to 65% with Wärtsilä's new technology solution.

LONGi strengthens presence in Mexico with 191MW Pachamama PV power plant

Invested by French solar energy firm Neoen, the Pachamama photovoltaic power plant, located in the state of Aguascalientes in central Mexico, has a total installed capacity of 375MW, of which 191MW is deployed by LONGi. The plant was completed and handed over to Neoen in January 2020.
