There is a dark cloud hanging over solar energy. Despite frequent government pushes for wider adoption of renewable power sources, progress in recent years has been relatively slow. Here, Steve Hughes, managing director of power quality expert REO UK, explains, there may be a way to part the clouds in solar energy.
Prysmian To Display Innovative, Sustainable And Cost Effective Cable Solutions For The Offshore Wind Industry At WindEnergy Hamburg 2016
While JinkoSolar modules are expected to last at least 25 years, PV system owners now have dedicated resources to help aid in responsible disposal of modules once they reach the end of their life cycle.
Advanced Materials Key to Ensure Sustainable Solar Industry Growth
Often, solar generators are considered only as items for backcountry survivalists, but solar power's use extends so much further. Here, we discuss why churches and other community organizations should consider purchasing a solar generator.

Social Marketing and Industry Integration to Drive Mass Adoption of Solar
SolPad, the world's first and only truly integrated solar panel, marks a quantum leap in personal power and aims to gamify sustainable energy use for the masses.
Pacific Power Engineers, Inc. (PPE) was formed by experienced engineers from different branches and offers a range of services e.g. in project management. Together with Lufft USA we provide photovoltaic monitoring solutions.
Following is a statement from Tom Kimbis, interim president of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA):
New solar PV farm projects require the use of meteorological (MET) weather stations to achieve and maintain efficiencies critical to power and revenue generation. Nor-Cal Controls ES, Inc. has meticulously engineered the Tahoe™ MET station to meet and exceed the exacting demands of this new industry using Lufft's weather sensor.

Both multi-crystalline and mono-crystalline module prices extend the slump this week. In multiple exhibitions held in the past two weeks, the solar panels prices in India, Japan and the US have witnessed enlarged drops amid intense competition. The 1st tier Chinese module makers, with increasing production capacities in SEA, leverage strategic pricing most aggressively in the US, offering price quotes of multi-crystalline modules at around $0.40/watt. In addition, top tier Chinese module makers also intend to strengthen its presence in the EU and Japan market by providing more competitive priced modules. In India and the emerging market, 2nd tier Chinese module makers have dominated price turbulence as they can dump excess inventories without punitive tariff enforced. Such fierce price competition indicates that Chinese module makers are still on the way of inventory clearance.

The GreenFasten™ - GF1 system utilizes the patented watertight technology EcoFasten Solar® is known for. The flashing is fit with our EPDM rubber bushing and when used with a compatible EcoFasten Solar compression bracket (milled with countersink), a watertight seal is created, which protects the integrity of the roof. Requiring just a single fastener (lag bolt or self-drilling), GreenFasten provides the fastest install in the industry and will not void roofing manufacturer's warranties. Backed by IAPMO certification, GreenFasten delivers a mounting solution for all new or existing (retrofit) composition shingle roofs, and is the most cost-effective solution available. Like all of the solar roof mount solutions in our line of products, GreenFasten is made in the USA using recycled materials.
