NEW YORK – November 6th, 2014 – GameChange Racking today announced the Pour-in-Place Ballasted Ground System was utilized in the installation of a landfill solar system. OnForce Solar, a leading provider of solar energy systems, recently completed construction of the large-scale, 2.364 MW solar array built on a decommissioned, capped landfill in West Nyack for the Town of Clarkstown. This solar installation is the first of its kind built on a landfill in the State of New York.
Sempra U.S. Gas and Power will continue to provide operations and maintenance services for the plant, which generates enough renewable energy to power about 30,000 Nebraska homes.
