Our history is one of innovation. Your company will be exhibiting at Intersolar & EES, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

We will be exhibiting at Intersolar Europe this year. We see this as the single most important solar-related event, certainly in Europe, and as it is European, it attracts visitors from several of our marketplaces, including France, Italy, UK, Netherlands and Germany. 

 

What can a visitor to your booth expect to see this year?

We will be exhibiting our two core solar safety products - the FireRaptor Solar Panel Rapid Shutdown solution, and the SI/SIM ranges of TRUE DC solar isolators. The SI is our market-leading switch disconnect for PV applications - with over 5 million installed units worldwide and ZERO reported electrical failures. SIM is the "Son of a Switch" - 35% more compact with improved ratings, it is also a TRUE DC solar isolator, same mechanism, same reliability, same quality, in a considerably smaller package!

 

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?

From an R&D perspective, we would be very interested to see what developments are happening with EV charging solutions. We manufacture a number of products which are well aligned to this new growth area in the market, so it would serve as a good fact finding opportunity. It's always interesting to see what our competitors are doing, especially on rapid shutdown and new technologies.

 

When you book a booth for a tradeshow like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

We have exhibited at Intersolar many times, and therefore it is very much a "known quantity". We see Intersolar Europe as one of the most important events in the calendar, due to it's enormous size and the huge amount of key people in attendance. As one of the leading manufacturers of solar safety products, it is very important to us as a business that we exhibit our products to as many of these key people, from specifiers to purchasing managers, to lead engineers and project managers. Our innovative products provide exceptionally useful solutions for the industry, and therefore it is important for us to educate attendees about our proposition whilst also allowing them to feel the quality of our products, build on our brand and reputation as part of our Marketing and PR function, cementing our position as one of the leading solar safety manufacturers at Intersolar.
