Sensor for H2 quantification in a blend and for H2 leakages detection
Solid-state, catalytic nanoparticles-decorated semiconductor-based sensor, with semi-permeable membrane layer for alkanes filtering.
How it works: the H2 quantification is based on a chemical reaction between H2 and catalytic nanoparticles, which results in a change of material's resistance, generating an electrical signal. The resistance changes are proportional to the amount of H2 present.
