Solar powered air conditioning need not be complicated. Inova Energy has developed an Integrated Evaporative (IE) cooling system that permits evaporative cooling to work in hot and humid climates. Simple and effective, IE employs an evaporative medium with high thermal mass within the floor and walls to actively provide comfort during the day and passive cooling at night. All limitations, including insufficient dew point depression at night and undesirable interior humidity are resolved.
